Getting here & parking

Temple traffic enters on Temple Hill Road, a 3,000 foot road that runs from Kickapoo Creek Road up to the Temple parking lot. The gate at Prairie Lane is used only for emergency purposes.

A paved ring road encircles the Temple, Yagashala and parking lot, and the parking extensions provide space for 315 cars for festivals and special occasions.

The Hindu Temple of Central Illinois is situated on a beautiful bluff overlooking Kickapoo Creek and the Peoria stretch of the Illinois River Valley. The temple is bordered to the south by Peoria Park District's Rocky Glen forest preserve.
